Centro Comercial el Recreo (Av. Pedro V. Maldonado S-11-122, Quito) – located towards the southern end of Quito (in the Villaflora district), this shopping center opened in 1990, and has a variety of retailers, as well as amenities found in other malls – from a movie theater, to a play center for school children. This mall also has a library and a clinic.
